A very successful campdraft was held at Inglewood again this year with record numbers of entries (580 in all classes). The most pleasing aspect was that there were no major incidents this year with regard to competitors or stock.
Friday was a very long day for competitors, volunteers & more importantly, the judge, John Diery with some help with the Juvenile & Junior Campdrafts from Mark Chorley.
The Maiden Campdraft was completed by lunch time with the Juvenile & Junior Campdrafts completed by 1.30pm. We then commenced the Novice Campdraft, unfortunately we were not able to complete the first round by sunset so that was completed on Saturday morning.
With the Open Campdraft completed for a late lunch, all competitors were able to head for home at a respectable time. Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to all the competitors who helped make this a very successful weekend.
Lastly the Inglewood Show Society would like to thank the very generous lenders of the cattle. They were The Goodrich Family “Warroo Station”, Bill Nicholas, Cobby & Terri Hobbs, Kevin & Denise Hobbs, The Charles Family “Angle C”, Garry Waters “Artunga” and Charles Munro “Jellicoe”.
